SAN FRANCISCO {part 2}

March 1, 2011

We spent the next few days in the city and stayed at a VERY cheap hotel.  Totally sketch, but one only needs a clean place to stay, right?  HA!  Our time spent in the city felt like a blur.  It went by too fast and it didn’t feel like I was able to just take it all in.  I hope to come back again one day and just…

sit.

The first thing we did was find a place to eat after checking in.

We found a sushi joint called Sakana.  Twas okay.

Later on, we went back to Fisherman’s Wharf (just can’t help myself, I love being by water).
And we tried Trish’s Mini Doughnuts.  Yum!

For dinner (we all did was eat), we went to Burgermeister.  (Only because La Trappe was closed! Boo.)
I ordered the San Francisco Burger. Bleu cheese?! Yes, please!

The next morning, we went down to SOMA (South of Market) and ate breakfast at The Creamery.

Hung out at a nearby cafe, Epicenter Cafe.

Ate lunch at this pleez-ace.

The carpaccio melted in my mouf!  OH YES.

One of the highlights of my trip: Paulette’s Macarons!

My first time eating a macaron… ever.  I am now obsessed!

Ah-maze-ing.

Onward to Haight-Ashbury!

Found this cute chocolate shop, Coco Luxe.

White chocolate cocoa with homemade marshmallows!!!

Amoeba Music!

Kichi Grill for deener.

Beard Papa’s Cheesecake Stick for dessert.

AND THEN… I got sick that night. :(

Haha, stay tuned for the last post!
