SAN FRANCISCO {part 1}

February 24, 2011

Missed me?  Because I missed you.

I traveled to the golden coast and visited the Bay Area for the first time ever.  It was a long 9 day trip!

I think my adventures in San Francisco will be a three part series. The first two posts will be filled with mostly photos and short captions. The third? Well, you will discover why I moved back home and why I’ve been busy this past Winter.

Ready?

The first thing we did was head toward AT&T Park – where the SF Giants won the 2010 World Series.  There was a Fanfest from 11a-3p.  Yeaaah, shoulda gotten there at like 10a.  We couldn’t get in, but it was fun trying to!  Haha.

Soon, we were hungry, so we walked a couple of blocks west and ended up at this Thai joint: Osha.  It was quite fancy inside, but I didn’t care.  I just wanted to eat.  Later, we realized how many Thai restaurants there really are in SF (like one or two on every block), and I regretted eating at a “chain.”

Yummy Spring Rolls!

My Pad See Ew.

Chris’s Pad Thai.

Then, it was onward to Fisherman’s Wharf!  See Alcatraz?

Huge starfish!

Chris loves his profile.

Sea Lions! <3

I was in heaven!  I LOVEEE Biscoff.  (Like I love Ube & Nutella!)

Then, we ended the night with In-N-Out!

The next day, Chris’s favorite aunt drove all the way from Stockton to hang out with us.  (We stayed at Chris’s other aunt’s house in Walnut Creek for most of our trip.  Walnut Creek is about an hour away from the City of SF by BART.)  First stop:  Bombay Indian Restaurant for a buffet!  Haha.

Twas okay.  It was Chris’s first time and he wasn’t feeling it.

After a late lunch, I wanted to check out Kara’s (organic) Cupcakes!

Sound familiar?  She was on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars!

Yummy Coconut!  Meyer Lemon okay… frosting was way too buttery.

Super excited to be in The Container Store.  (Shh, I’ve never been!)

Because it was super hot for a day in February (almost 80 degrees!), we stopped by Gelateria Naia!

Delicioso!

Stay tuned for parts two & three!
