Like I said in my year-in-review, Janelle did not want another wannabe bachelorette party ’til, well, her bachelorette! So, she decided to throw a slumber party. Blair Waldorf style, of course! She took advantage of her parents’ timeshare and it was on!
Before the party started, me and my best friends (Janelle & Michelle) finally exchanged Christmas gifts! Yes, we’re they’re that busy! :o)
She had a tremendous amount of food because she was worried she would run out. I swear, she’s a Filipino auntie in the making! Lots of hors d’œuvre, fondue, and MOSCATO!
I made a Frozen Brownie Sundae. Recipe by my homegirl, Giada. Well… it tasted derricious! But it didn’t hold up well. And I think I know why. My baking shtuff is all packed up — I moved back home (more on that later!), so I used my mom’s 7×11 glass dish instead of the 8×8 dish Giada uses. And we all know the 8×8 dish is deeper. Eh, oh well. I will remake later! Hehe.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the sundae was Janelle’s birthday “cake.”

MIA jumping on the bed… then breaking it! Hahaha.

After only five hours of sleep, this was nice to wake up to!

Later that night, Janelle & her loved ones had an amazing dinner at Asahi.

Happiest birthday, best friend/fiancee/future co-bakery owner! <3

Haha I like how I’m warming my hands on the birthday candles.
